Mette Nordahl developed PAF in 2012 and has since been tested as a social experiment in different schools in Denmark. PAF started as an experiment in a primary school in Denmark, where Mette came once a month in a troubled class and taught them PAF. Even though it was only once a month, the teachers of the class could feel a difference in the children and the class culture after just one year.
In 2014 a youth unit made PAF a course for troubled children. Mette had a group of children with a troubled background at the age of 12-15 for a week, 8 am to 3 pm. Mette taught them how to interact better with other people and how to believe in their strengths and know how to use them. After one week, the children returned to their daily life in school but continued to have individual sessions with Mette. They all started to become more dedicated to school and happier children overall.
PAF got big in 2015 when two primary schools decided to implement PAF over three years. Two teachers from each school got educated to be PAF-Counselors by Mette and after they went out to their daily class and taught the children PAF every day. Today the schools each have six PAF-Counselor, and more are on the way. PAF has shown an enormous difference in the classes that have PAF every day. Classes have gone to be a troubled class with bullying and a bad social environment for children who play well together and love coming to school.
Because of the fantastic results, PAF has shown, a third school started to implement PAF in 2017. Mette has gotten so well results from the schools and the parents of the children are even thrilled since they experience a happier child coming home from school and a child who are better at expressing themselves.
In 2018, Mette Nordahl got invited to go to Slovenia and speak about PAF at the IOCTI conference. Since then, other countries have become interested in PAF and want to know more. Mette, therefore, had her first international PAF-Training in 2019, where 16 participated in a week-long intense workshop and saw the PAF-Exercises in action, as well as spoke with the children who have had PAF for one year or more. All of the participants work with children in their own country and now work on bringing PAF to their country.
In 2020, the first online PAF education starts. One of Danish and one on English and Dutch. Mette is also invited to go to Costa Rica to have a week-long workshop with teachers who need new tools to approach children/students differently.
PAF has given amazing results among the students who have been having PAF for at least one year. The change we have seen in the students is not only seen by the teachers and staff at the school but also the parents of the students notice their child being more confident and happy about going to school. PAF creates a dynamic and synchronized change in the classrooms by implementing the PAF-Culture to the entire school.
All of the PAF-Exercises is made through the eyes of the systemic constellation. A method that visualizes and strengthens the relationships in the classroom. The PAF-Counselors are also educated in quantum physics and epigenetics since it’s important to understand the language of the body and what feelings such as gratitude can do to our body.
